"Nien. I know she is dead. I watched her death." his eyes narrowed as he remembered the ordeal as clear as day in his head.
"This is why I am not human. They say I am the sonne of a demon, but he is not one. He simply feeds off that fear, calling himself a demon to frighten men. A weak thing, Religion. To hold onto a hope that you don’t even know is real. I’ve been to ‘heaven’ und I can tell you; it does not exist."
"Well hopefully she finds more peace on the other side than you did dear. And if it’s any consolation dear, I know a few spawned by the devil and you are not one… you smell different."
"Well thank the gods for that, it seems like a ghastly place to spend an eternity. Hell is much better dear, if you die again I highly recommend it."
Jagged teeth, claws, This thing wasn’t human. Even more reason to be curious, but not to trust it. The being seemed…amused? Why was it amused at him? was it mocking him? He didn’t like that. Last thing to mock him was a survivor and that person met a gorey end. Though his common sense said don’t attack the thing with claws and fangs bigger then he was…for now. He tore another part of the heart in his hands off and chewed on it, mouth open, zombies had terrible manners. He didn’t keep his gaze off the pale thing infront of him, scanning and processing, what WAS it? The darkness of the forest helping hide his face under his hood.
What adorable little teeth… though she was still surprised at how well they cut through the meat. It was a good thing that she was no mortal, she wouldn’t be all too keen to be running into the path of this creature.
She could tell that she was being studied by the other, the shadow from the hood did not provide any defence against her hidden yet ever keen eyes. As much as she disliked it, she did not bother to express it. After all, she couldn’t blame him. In his situation she would be doing the same thing.
Tilting her head she strode forwards casually to inspect his victim, however there was too much blood to clearly see the humans face. Oh well, it wasn’t as though it mattered. They were dead now. She let out a gusted sigh and once again returned her attention back to the other.
"Do you understand me…?" she asked after a short pause.

"Danke for that."
"Ja. Mien wife. Though I avenged her death… It would seem I was not meant to be reunited with her. Yet more unfathomable proof that religion is wrong.”
"Well deary… perhaps the fact you do not remember her in your afterlife could suggest she wasn’t there at all? I do not want to give you false hope dear, but perhaps you could check the obituaries?”
“Ugh humans prove themselves wrong daily with their ideals… how sad a life to lead clinging to the supposed word of another that won’t even show its face. If their petty god exists it is a laughable one. I could never follow a coward.”
"Or fate was that Linda and I were not meant to be…"
"I had just avenged her own murder… I don’t even remember seeing her in my afterlife. …I don’t remember it at all."
"… I assume Linda was your mate then dear,”
"The fact you were together at some point states quite the opposite, darling. Death is natural. Life however likes to throw ah, curve balls, as you have learned.”
To that he looked down, biting his lip with a fang as his brow furrowed.
"Two years ago, I was murdered." He paused. "For some reason… I was brought back."
"Well then… that’s odd… not unheard of but odd…”
"I’m sorry to hear that, deary. Perhaps life wasn’t quite through with you yet…?"
"Do you know the year?"
"The year is more important to me…"
"The year? Two thousand and… fourteen so I believe? Undoubtedly the humans have some apocalypse scheduled that won’t happen- as they do every year. So disappointing.”
"I know it’s none of my business but may I ask, why?”
The Hunter was happily tearing apart his meal reaching it’s favorite parts. Ribs, lungs, throat, and the best part, the heart. He was mid-bite into the no longer beating organ when he heard the voice of, a human? He spun his head to the side and stared. No, not a human, what was it? He didn’t trust it. Out of earth? what the hell was that supposed to mean. This was a forest for all the infected knew. He just growled at the being, blood dripping from his mouth. Did it want his food? it can’t have it! not till he’s done anyways. His fist clenched what was left of the heart and he pulled it closer to his face to show he had claimed this human as his meal.
Though trust or not, he was still curious as to WHAT this thing was before him, which was why he hadn’t made any violent actions towards the figure.
Judging by how quickly the creature reacted, she could discern that there was something more than basic functions ticking around in his head. This could prove to be quite interesting…
At the other creatures hostility, Drathenia returned it with a broad smile that exposed a generous amount of her jagged teeth. It was a mixture of amusement and also a subtle display of warning.
"Oh that’s sweet…" She murmured, flexing her long claws yet however she made no move towards him. It could have easily been passed as her stretching.
"Oh am I interrupting you, dear?" Drathenia continued to ask as he lifted the remains of the heart to his mouth, assuming he wanted to continue eating.
"Lovely name, frou."
"Tell me… what is the date, if you know it?"
"It is merely a title, but thank you all the same."
“I don’t usually keep up with human dates, but judging by the moon it is almost the turning of a month, September I believe.”
"…For as rude as I have been, you have been fairly polite. I apologize for my rudeness."
"My name is Kurt Darkholme… do you have a name?"
“Oh you’re not the worst I have and will stray across, you’re forgiven. For now. You seem to have caught me on a good day, sweetie.”
“WellKurt Darkholme, I do indeed have a name. Drathenia, no more and no less.”
"Most people who follow me are assuming I am Kurt Wagner."
"Though… You are… different. I can see that with mien eyes that which… you lack, so for you, I assumed it was a common mistake."
"Well you see, uh, darling, just because I do not have eyes does not mean I cannot see.”
“Don’t fret dear, it’s a ah… common mistake.”
